- The use of artificial airways and why they may be used
- How to carry out a respiratory assessment
- How to escalate concerns regarding your patient
- The hierarchy of breathing support we use on PICU
- The different ventilation modes and common ventilation terminology
- Medications your patient might be receiving that help with their ventilation and their side effects
